Artist's Description
The 1895 church sits on the Shawangunk Ridge looking north to the Catskills. It is known throughout the region for its scenic beauty and the spiritual calm of its stone sanctuary. It is located in the historic Cragsmoor Art Colony, which is on the State and National Registers of Historic Properties.
About Cornelia DeDona
My photos are published in calendars, books, and online. I inherited my passion for the Arts from my paternal grandfather, a gifted poet and musician. Grandpa played six musical instruments; his talent delighted and inspired me at an impressionable age. In December 2019, I relocated to North Fort Myers, Florida, where I plan to spend my winters. A new source of inspiration and delight is the sunrise and sunset photos, preferably with water. I am passionate about photography and hiking in my childhood home in the Gunks and the Catskill Mountains.
